HTC Snap Mobile Phone Review

HTC has always been known for its smartphone technology, mostly with touchscreens, just like BlackBerry has been known mostly for QWERTY technology. However, the HTC Snap looks an awful lot like a BlackBerry phone. Could this be just a ‘copycat’ device or has HTC come up with something more powerful than RIM has to offer?

The first thing that will catch your eye with the Snap is its size. Naturally, you would expect it to be bulkier and wider because of the QWERTY keyboard; however, it is actually thin and fits comfortably in your pocket. No, it is not the thinnest mobile phone on the market, but with all its features, it is still impressively thin.

The main feature of the HTC Snap, aesthetic wise, would have to be the QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard fills up most of the unit  with big, chunky keys that are quite responsive so texting and emailing is very easy, perhaps even more so than on the BlackBerry.

Speaking of the BlackBerry, the Snap supports Push e-mail which just happens to be one of the most impressive functions on a BlackBerry unit. If you are not familiar with Push, what it means is that you have instant access to your work e-mail account, Gmail, POP3, IMAP and Microsoft Exchange.

HTC has a lot of low cost phones but certainly practical as they are highly usable are available mostly in contract phones with free TV. It's best to check the web occasionally and you might be able to get a free HTC Snap cashback offer which is a better deal than on the high streets.

Sony Ericsson Aino Mobile Phone Review

It seems that Sony has been releasing one amazing smartphone after another. Now they’ve come out with a stylish and sexy handset called the Sony Ericsson Aino. This model offers some really cool features including acting as a remote control for the PlayStation 3. Let’s take a look at what else this latest release has to offer.

It was nice to feel actual keys under our fingers, since we are so used to touchscreens today. The keyboard slides out smoothly and is easy to grip. Using the keyboard was a nice experience. When the slide is closed, the Aino goes into clock mode at which time it displays the FM radio as well as the TrackID to let you know exactly what songs are playing.

Sony Ericsson has included an awesome 8.1 mega pixel camera with LED flash. This is above and beyond most camera phones in this price range. You will be very pleased with the photos that you take with this camera whether it is day time or night time; the photos come out clear and sharp. But we would expect nothing less from Sony Ericsson.

When you're after a mobilephone, it's best you check on its best Vodafone free line rental deal so you can get good savings. You can buy the best Sony Ericsson Aino deals easily off the web, you just have to remember your end so you can get the advantages.

Samsung Monte Mobile Phone Review

We were also surprised with the camera on the Monte, but not in a good way. With all the models on the market today offering high mega pixel, good quality cameras, we were disappointed to see that Samsung offered a mere 3.2 mega pixel camera.

The photos were decent as long as you took them in bright light. There was also a photo editing tool that we got bored with quite quickly. However, we can’t have it all and the great Web features on this device make up for a few disappointments.

On the other hand, the media player and FM radio were better than we expected. They weren’t the best, but for this price range they were pretty good. The inclusion of the 3.5mm audio jack allows you to enjoy using your favourite headphones when listening to music or videos.

Speaking of the low price range, we did not expect the Monte to have GPS, but surprise, it’s on board. You can see the maps using the satellite mode and we managed to navigate quite easily. The Samsung Monte does present a few problems. At times the Monte was a little slow and unresponsive. Also, instead of a QWERTY keyboard, this device has a 12 key layout; this can get extremely frustrating at times.

I know that we sang the praises of the online content that Samsung has included in this model; however, the browsing experience was not that good. Don’t get us wrong, the browser was better than most other browsers in this price range, we could stream video and view full web pages, but we kept running out of memory. Also, the web content was not that easy to set up or to use.

When you're after a mobilephone, it's best you check on its best Vodafone free line rental deal so you can get good savings. You can find a Android mobiles easily off the web, you just have to remember your end so you can get the advantages.

Acer Liquid E Ferrari Mobile Phone Review

The Acer Liquid E Ferrari takes its name from the race car manufacturer. However, can it live up to the name? One of the first things you will notice with the Acer Liquid E Ferrari is the 3.5 inch touch screen. This is a capacitive screen with great colors and a crisp display. You can type and scroll and text quite easily on this touch screen.

The Ferrari is a little on the thick side though. This makes it very easy and comfortable to handle, however, it will take up more space in your pocket. This device offers a 5 megapixel camera which features an HD 1080 setting. However, without a flash, photos taken in low light are very disappointing.

Unfortunately you cannot shoot HD videos, but the 480p video setting still looks pretty good. The Acer Liquid E Ferrari is decent smartphone, but if you are not a fan of the Ferrari styling and you really need a track pad, this unit may not be for you.

Acer has a lot of low cost phones but certainly practical as they are highly usable are available mostly mobile phone contracts. It's best to check the web occasionally and you might be able to get a free Acer Liquid E Ferrari cashback offer which is a better deal than on the high streets.

LG GD550 PURE Mobile Phone Review

Although the “hottest” thing on the market is the touch screen and the full QWERTY keypad, there are still many consumers who just want the basic keypad.  The LG answers this demand with their GD550 Pure which caters to the customers who just want the basic keypad.

Let’s take a look at the some of the other functions that are available on this device. Along with the basic number keypad, the Pure gives the consumer a 2.4’, 262K color QVGA screen. Even though the keypad interface is extremely basic, it definitely gets the job done.

The unit does however, offer an office document viewer, an FM radio and thanks to a micro SD slot you can expand your memory up to 16GB. The LG GD550 Pure does not offer the consumer a lot of gizmos and gadgets, but it is perfect for the user who is looking for something simple and basic.

The LG GD550 PURE is a promising phone with good features that could compete with today's latest. LG hasn't lost the mobilephone market yet and they also have lots of LG GD550 PURE deals that might change your mind when buying the phone you have in mind.

HTC 7 Mozart Mobile Phone Review

The real ‘star’ of the show on this model is the stunning camera. If you enjoy taking photos, then you will love this device. The Mozart offers an 8 mega pixel camera with Xenon flash and auto focus. Some of the other functions of the camera are: face detection and geo-tagging.

And as you would expect, the video recording is just as sharp and crystal clear with 720p HD footage. The camera is definitely one feature that puts the Mozart ahead of the competition. Keeping you connected and informed while on the go, the Mozart provides Bluetooth, 3G, Wi-Fi and micro USB. In addition, the Windows 7 operating system many online features for your browsing pleasure, such as, Internet Explorer.

Facebook is also offered for social networking. The first feature to catch your eye is the stunning 3.7 inch S-LCD capacitive touchscreen. This screen does not have the resolution of the Apple iPhone’s retina display; however, it is quite clear and sharp.

In conclusion, the HTC 7Mozart is an overall good mobile phone, however, the main attraction of this device would have to be the amazing camera.

The HTC is a promising phone with good features that could compete with today's latest. HTC hasn't lost the mobilephone market yet and they also have lots of cheap HTC 7 Mozart deals that might change your mind when buying the phone you have in mind.

Samsung B7722 Mobile Phone Review

Even though the name of the Samsung B7722 is not very fancy or classy, don’t let that fool you. This model has some interesting qualities. This device has the capacity to house two SIM cards in one unit. This makes it the ideal set up for a personal phone and a work phone.

In addition to the ability to operate two SIM cards, the B7722 has a few other attributes to offer. It has a 3.2” WQVGA resolution resistive touchscreen and also a TouchWiz user interface. In keeping with the personal phone and work phone agenda, this device is completely integrated for social networking also email and office document viewing.

Even though it can be a little difficult at times, the web browsing is pretty good quality. The panning and scrolling features operate fairly easy, however the zooming is a little slow and can cause error messages to occur. The Flash feature lets you access YouTube videos unfortunately the memory difficulties make the performance a bit inconsistent.

Vodafone Smart 858 Mobile Phone Review

Vodafone are a company we’ve grown to love, especially as a network, but we aren’t very familiar with their skills in smartphone manufacturing, so when we heard they were releasing a new model – the Vodafone Smart 858 – we were quite excited to see what the results would be. The network itself is reliable and one of the UK’s favourites, but can it perform to such a high standard when making their own mobile phones?
Marketed as a budget Android handset the Smart 858 is incredibly tiny and comes for an incredibly tiny price – at £70 there’s not really much you can complain about. We found the handset to be a lightweight, compact and comfortable phone, feeling great in the hand as well as being incredibly pocket-friendly.
It runs on Android 2.2 Froyo, which although is not the most recent version of the operating system, is a great addition that can provide you with the opportunity of experiencing the latest apps and games. With the addition of Froyo the Vodafone Smart is also capable of being turned into a Wi-Fi hotspot or USB dongle, which is impressive for a phone of this price, and damned near perfect for students off to university.
The memory of the phone isn’t very big, however you are able to expand this up to 32GB via microSD. The media player is pretty bare bones but you are able to upload plenty of tracks from your music library onto the Smart 858.
Overall we found the Vodafone Smart 858 to be a cheap and cheerful phone and little else. We loved the fact that we could personalise our phone cover and if we’re honest it’s the ideal phone for the younger generation. It would be the ultimate schoolyard phone, so if you’re an adult professional you should steer well clear.
Vodafone has a lot of low cost phones but certainly practical as they are highly usable are available mostly in Vodafone Smart 858 contracts. It's best to check the web occasionally and you might be able to get a free Vodafone Smart 858 cashback offer which is a better deal than on the high streets.

Mobile Phone Review Sony Ericsson Jalou Dolce & Gabbana

Released by Sony Ericsson, the Jalou handset was met with much admiration when it was released on the market, but now Sony Ericsson plan to team up with the fashion house Dolce & Gabbana in order to create a stylish version of the classic handset, but can the Sony Ericsson Jalou Dolce & Gabbana handset offer any substance as well as style?

We were pleased to discover that the Jalou Dolce & Gabbana wasn’t completely without it’s high-tech features, as there were features that allowed us to multi-task, so we could leave all sorts of cool features such as games, music and apps running in the background when we needed to send a quick text message.

To add to the growing trend of allowing Facebook access into every facet of your life, the Sony Ericsson Jalou Dolce & Gabbana handset have a Facebook app pre-installed on the phone. Amongst the other cool features we noted on the Jalou Dolce & Gabbana included the fact that SMS-conversations could be threaded so you can keep up-to-date with conversations between friends.

We found the 3.2 megapixel camera to be of average quality and we enjoyed the fact we could shoot video, however without a flash we found this to be a surprisingly poor camera release from Sony Ericsson. In conclusion the Dolce & Gabbana Jalou is a sub-par release from Sony Ericsson that puts more stock in aesthetics than creating a usable phone with any credentials.

Saying that, little girls will probably love the Jalou handset and if were honest then it’s only little girls who would have a use for the phone. Indeed we feel the only demographic suitable for such a phone is little girls.

The Sony Ericsson Jalou Dolce & Gabbana is a promising phone with good features that could compete with today's latest. Sony Ericsson hasn't lost the mobilephone market yet and they also have lots of best iPhone deals that might change your mind when buying the phone you have in mind.
