Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type Mobile Phone Review

The Nokia X3-02 is a phone with one main distinctive feature that sets it apart from its other models: mainly that it has both a physical alphanumeric keypad and an onscreen keyboard. This is a trait that will either enthrall or annoy, especially considering that its screen is inexplicably resistive. Is the X3-02 for you? Read on to find out.

Available in blue, pink, lilac, white silver, and dark metal, we have to admit this is one of Nokia's more attractive phones. Its keypad is nicely responsive and has big buttons. At 78g, it is quite tiny and light and small, making it perfect for slipping it into a back pocket during a night out. Unfortunately, it's not the sturdiest phone built—you'll need to be careful not to sit on it by accident.

One downside to its 2.4 inch screen is that it's both small and resistive. This makes using the onscreen keyboard quite difficult, especially for those with large fingers. It's not completely unresponsive, however; it just lacks the instant gratification only a capacitive touchscreen can provide.

Its Series 40 operating system, alas, is dated and shows signs of needing improvement. However, it's not so awful that it's impossible to use, and if you aren't someone who needs to have the latest version of an operating system, you might not mind its inconsistencies.

Nokia has a lot of low cost phones but certainly practical as they are highly usable are available mostly in phone contracts with free laptop. It's best to check the web occasionally and you might be able to get a free Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type cashback offer which is a better deal than on the high streets.
