HTC Desire HD Mobile Phone Review - A Well Built Mobile That's Packed With Apps and Features

The HTC Desire HD is a phone that definitely makes improvements on its predecessors. While we didn't think it was possible to improve on the HTC Desire, this mobile's enormous screen, innovative user interface, and more make it definitely worth another look. However, if you want something with a better battery life, the latest version of Android, or simply a lighter weight, there are plenty of other models to consider.

Its looks aside, the combination of Android 2.2 with the HTC Sense interface is always a winning combination. While this isn't the most up-to-date version of Android, it is nevertheless advanced enough that you should still be able to use many of the latest apps and widgets from the Android Market.

Having Android also means the phone automatically carries a variety of Google related features, such as Google Talk, Google Maps, and more. Its internet connectivity is incredible, featuring Bluetooth, wi-fi, 3G, HSPA, HDSPA, GPRS, and many other options.

For those of you who want social networking integration with your phone, you also get a variety of options that let you synch your address book with contacts from Flickr and Facebook, keeping everyone nicely organised and updated.

Its eight megapixel camera is also incredible, equipped with a dual LED flash, autofocus, and 720p for recording videos. Its music related features are also quite good, with a 3.5 mm headphone jack, an excellent media player, and crisp, clear sound quality.

With 32GB of on board memory, you should be able to store photos, videos, and more without worrying about slowing down your phone. Alas, its battery life could use some work, as the presence of wi-fi, its giant screen, and other energy sapping features mean you'll need to charge this phone daily if you want any serious use out of it.

HTC Desire HD gets better in every release, some may become costly but more and more mobile phones are getting cheaper. There are various ways to save money and you can get a contract phones with free gifts if ever you want to buy one.
