MOBILE PHONE REVIEW - GOOGLE NEXUS S

The Nexus S is the first to run Google’s newest Android operating system - 2.3 Gingerbread. The first thing you should know about the presence of the Android OS on the Nexus S is that it is the stock Android OS, so there are no third-party applications that will wear away your genuine Google experience.

Another bonus is that stock Android models also receive updates before any other Android phone, in order to test out whether they cooperate with other Android add-ons, so you get the privilege of test-driving the latest updates before other Android phone users.

The audio quality of the Nexus S is brilliant and when connected to an amplifier, the audio output is flawless. We actually believe that the audio quality is better than the Galaxy S, something we thought we’d never say, with an improved frequency response.

As it is so many times, just when we let down our guard and start to truly love a handset we discover the deal-breaking flaw. In the case of the Nexus S, there are a couple of things to note. The video camera capabilities are lower than those on most mobiles available at present, so you can’t get any good-quality home videos as you an with other phones in this price range.

The Google Nexus S is a promising phone with good features that could compete with today's latest. Google hasn't lost the mobilephone market yet and they also have lots of mobile phone deals that might change your mind when buying the phone you have in mind.
