Mobile Phone Review Acer E110

A budget smartphone with plenty of features, the Acer E110 has been released as an affordable Android alternative to the higher end Acer Liquid series, but we’re unsure as to how much Acer has sacrificed to provide you with a lower price option. Automatically you can see that Acer have equipped the E110 offers plenty of ways to organise your life, with multiple home screens and lots of apps and widgets to customise each of these to your liking.

Obviously being a smartphone Acer have pre-installed a range of apps on the E110, including the ever-popular social networking apps for Facebook and Twitter, as well as the Acer music download app known as Spinlets. Spinlets has always been a popular apps on the Acer Liquid handsets and the E110 has provided the user with an expanded catalogue of music tracks and albums, perfect for music on the go when you’re without your mp3 player.

An added boon is that the E110 music player supports a variety of file types and the sound quality is surprisingly really good. We were also impressed with the 3.5mm headphone jack that allows you to use your own headphones rather than the ones that come with the phone, which makes the E110 a great budget music phone.

When it comes to SD card mounting and functionality the sync control is really handy and the animated menus look pretty swish. Everything on the phone is really easy to find and the USB modem allow you to access the internet via the phone from your computer. Surprisingly the call quality is also pretty good, even in loud areas, so overall for basic use the E110 is a great choice.

The Acer E110 is a promising phone with good features that could compete with today's latest. Acer hasn't lost the mobilephone market yet and they also have lots of mobile phone deals that might change your mind when buying the phone you have in mind.
