Samsung Galaxy S Mobile Phone Review

The Samsung Galaxy S, while not without its flaws, is nevertheless a credit to its designers. Its extraordinary screen, amazing exterior design, Swype technology, and more will have many users frantic to get one. Is it for everyone, though?

Looks-wise, the Galaxy S may look a bit familiar to some iPhone users. This is because its size and shape isn't dissimilar. However, it's hardly an iPhone clone: its enormous 4 inch AMOLED touchscreen features multi-touch support as well as Swype, a feature that lets you simply draw a line from key to key rather than tapping each one individually.

This makes texting and emailing enormous fun. It also results in some truly imaginative games. Its Android 2.1 operating system isn't the most up-to-date, but you can still enjoy a variety of Android Market goodies without worrying about compatibility issues. Its 1GHZ of processing power makes it fairly speedy as well, which is a must for any smartphone of this quality.

Having Android means you also get instant access to a variety of Google related fun, such as Google Maps, Gmail, Google Talk, and much more. One of its best qualities is the sheer level of customisation. You get an array of high quality apps already installed.

When you're saving money but wanting to buy a high feature phone like the Samsung Galaxy S, you might as well get and online deal. An alternative to the Samsung Galaxy S is of course the iPhone, compare to cheap iPhone deals as they are found easily than mobilephone deals.
